The Rochelle suite is inspired by my boyfriend’s grandmother, a woman of effortless elegance, sharp wit, and timeless style. Growing up in New York City, she embodies classic sophistication, which inspired the bold, black-tie elements woven throughout her suite.
I chose strong, modern serif fonts as the focal point, reflecting both her refined sensibility and a contemporary flair that keeps the suite feeling current. Each design choice celebrates her impeccable taste while offering couples a stationery suite that is equally elegant and distinguished.
Beyond her style, Rochelle has shaped cherished parts of my own life—most notably my love of mahjong, a passion she passed down through her knowledge, house rules, and playful spirit. This suite is a tribute to her class, wit, and the meaningful traditions she has shared, creating a refined and personal design that stands out for any wedding celebration.
