The Namesake Collection is one of the most personal projects I’ve ever created. Each suite is named after a remarkable woman in my life—women whose influence has shaped me both as an artist and as a person. Without their impact, Mia Muñoz Design simply wouldn’t exist.
Every suite draws inspiration from her aesthetic, expressed through hand-painted patterns, curated fonts, and thoughtful design details. Each element was chosen with intention: to honor her legacy while offering a timeless, refined suite that any couple would be proud to share with their guests.
My goal was to create a collection that feels both deeply meaningful and effortlessly luxurious—a reflection of each woman’s spirit, woven together with the signature style you’ve come to expect from Mia Muñoz Design.

Welcome to the Namesake collection, a luxury, semi-custom line of wedding invitations– each inspired by a woman in my life.
This collection of invitation suites is near and dear to my heart. Each suite is named after a woman in my life who has had a profound impact on me. Without them, I wouldn’t be who I am today and Mia Muñoz Design might not exist.
Each suite pulls from the woman’s aesthetic in the design elements selected, the patterns I created, and the fonts that were paired. Every detail has been meticulously chosen to simultaneously honor them, and to be a gorgeous edition to any bride’s wedding paper repertoire.
I wanted to create a deeply meaningful collection that displays each woman’s personality and interests, while creating a cohesive collection and still maintaining the unique Mia Muñoz Design style you know and love.

Once you’re officially onboarded with Mia Muñoz Design, you’ll receive a curated welcome box featuring a full sample kit of the Namesake Collection customization options. Inside, you’ll find paper color swatches, silk ribbon and wax seal samples, ink options, envelope colors, paper sizes, and a fully assembled suite—everything you need to experience the luxury and detail of the collection firsthand.
After our design consultation, I’ll begin bringing your Namesake Collection customizations to life. The design process includes two rounds of revisions, and after each round, you’ll receive life-like digital proofs to ensure your suite perfectly reflects your vision. This thoughtful process allows us to create a refined, personalized suite that feels uniquely yours from start to finish.
Every Mia Muñoz Design couple receives a complete Keepsake set of their invitations, thoughtfully paired with coordinating embellishments. These carefully curated details not only make for editorial-worthy photography, but also serve as a tangible heirloom, preserving your memories to cherish and share with loved ones for decades to come.

Process
The
Namesake Collection
The first step to working with Mia Muñoz Design is submitting an inquiry form. Once received, I’ll reach out with a few questions to better understand your vision and your wedding stationery needs. At this stage, you’ll also be invited to schedule a personalized consultation, where we’ll explore your ideas and bring your wedding paper vision to life.
Before our consultation, you’ll receive a Namesake Collection design questionnaire to share your preferences—favorite suite design, ink color, printing method, envelope color, embellishments, and more. There’s absolutely no pressure to finalize every choice at this stage; the design process is collaborative, and adjustments can be made through each round of revisions. The consultation call is an opportunity to answer your questions, explore ideas, and get to know each other as we begin creating your bespoke wedding stationery.
Once we’ve completed your consultation and you’ve selected a Namesake Suite to begin with, I’ll send over a contract along with your initial project invoice. Your spot on my schedule is secured once the contract is signed and a 50% deposit is received. After that, the real magic begins—we get to start creating your luxury wedding stationery, customized just for you. Cheers to bringing your vision to life!

When it’s time to begin the design process, you’ll be invited to a design call where we’ll refine your dream wedding invitations. During this session, we’ll select your Namesake Suite, explore all available customizations, and discuss embellishments to elevate your suite to the next level. This collaborative call is all about bringing your vision to life with thoughtful, luxurious details.
Following our design call, you’ll receive lifelike digital proofs created uniquely for you, ensuring your suite perfectly reflects your vision. If everything feels just right, we move on to production. Should we need to make a few tweaks or incorporate additional embellishments, I’ll return to the design board to refine your suite until it’s flawless. You deserve wedding stationery that’s as extraordinary as your celebration, and I’m here to make that a reality.
Once your revisions are complete and you’re thrilled with your invitation design, production begins with my top-tier vendors, bringing your bespoke suite to life. Each piece is then shipped to me for a thorough quality assessment—and the optional done-for-you assembly and envelope stuffing add-on. Finally, your finished invitations are sent to you in an insured parcel, with all elements included—ready for you to assemble, stuff, and send to your guests.
From there, all that’s left is to enjoy an invitation-stuffing party, add postage (I’ll provide an estimate for the amount needed per suite), and send them out to delight and wow your guests. Every detail is handled with care, ensuring your wedding stationery feels as extraordinary as your celebration.

Add printed envelope addressing to your package and let me take away the stress of ensuring everything is printed and formatted correctly! When you get your suites from me, you will simply stamp, seal, and send to your guests without having to print or handwrite every address.
Envelope Addressing
Upgrade to double-thick paper for any of the cards in your suite. Single ply is a substantial, 120 pound paper. Double ply is 240 pound, twice the thickness of single ply. When it comes to paper thickness, it is truly up to your preference as both will be a luxurious backdrop for your invitations!
