The Lucy suite is inspired by my other grandmother, Grandma Lucy. Though we spent less time together growing up—she lived eight hours away—I always felt deeply connected to her. She was a woman of strong convictions, steadfast routines, and a devotion to family that touched everyone around her. She adored spoiling my brother and me, and her love was felt in every small, meaningful gesture.
For Lucy’s suite, I incorporated a custom watercolor venue illustration to reflect the uniqueness of each couple’s wedding venue, a detail I imagine she would have loved. Just as she cherished telling stories, this suite allows her to continue being a part of countless couples’ stories, woven into the beginning of their wedding celebrations.
